 Meet the team

JakubJakub Postrzygacz

A sociologist, photographer and vaka ama paddler but most of all, an absolute bike fanatic. He cycled across Australian deserts and Himalayan passes, set up bike shops around the globe and worked with some of the world’s best riders as team mechanic. He remains responsible for equipment development for New Zealand Paralympic handcycling team. Ride Rarotonga is his latest challenge, with a mission to transform Cook Islands  into a cycling paradise, one bike at a time.

Lee Horton

Veteran downhill rider, expert paddle boarder and incurable optimist. Lee is one of the pioneers of New Zealand gravity racing, with plenty of daring adventures (and  broken bones) under his belt. Being older than all other team members combined, he brings with him a great wealth of life and business experience, from salmon fishing in the freezing waters of Alaska, to managing complex international enterprises.  He looks after our rental fleet and makes sure all store systems are always green.

JordanJordan Tatum

Avid road cyclist, one tough rugby player and fitness enthusiast, Jordan is the youngest member of our crew. Last year he took up the challenge to become Cook Island’s first certified bicycle mechanic. He keeps our busy workshop humming and assists with rental fleet logistics. Born and bred on Rarotonga, he’s also our source of local knowledge, from the secret fishing spots, to the best places to party on Friday night.
